My best Christmas ever? It was the celebration of the Christ in the little church of Belmont sur Lausanne in Switzerland. My home town tiny church. It could barely hold 100 people, all squeezed against each other on the wooden benches. There were lights everywhere, on the beautiful Christmas tree, on the altar, on the walls, making the tree branches and ornaments sparkle with thousands lights. I remember chanting all the Christmas songs from the top of my lungs. It was such a joyful time. It was heaven on earth.
When I started this painting, I remembered this sacred time. And I listened to the Christmas songs we used to chant. I was recreating the joy within.
Merry Christmas to you all!
“We celebrate Christmas eve. And very appropriately so, should we celebrate Christmas Eve, because that one who brought forward the Christ energy two thousand years ago, also brought within his consciousness, the gift of the Father, and that is to give of the Christ; the most precious gift that we are inheritors to. Not one person on this planet can be excluded from that.” — John-Roger, DSS
