Grazing at Sunset
24 x 16 Oil Painting on Linen Canvas Stretched on Wood Bars
Completed: January 2019

Driving on Hill Quaker Hill Road near my house, I saw these beautiful and majestic horses grazing while the sun was setting. I stopped my car and watched them for a while. I was surrounded by quiet and peaceful bliss. Although I had gotten closer to the fence, they didn’t look at me but continued grazing.

When painting them, I felt my heart expanding. It was like being in communion with them. I was painting from my heart.
